Kimberly Davis has over 20
years of experience organizing spaces for friends, family, professional
associates, and corporations.
Kimberly has always been one of
"those people" - the OCD neat freak that finds pure enjoyment out of
organizing things. She has a strong attention to detail and tends to take even
basic organizing to an extreme level. She loves what she does and as her
nursing degree/experience and extensive volunteer background proves, she also
loves helping people. As a professional organizer, she is able to combine her
two passions and help others simplify their space and thus to simplify their
lives.

The Lotus Flower
According to The Flower Expert -
"the Lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera) symbolizes purity, beauty, majesty,
grace, fertility, wealth, richness, knowledge and serenity." To
Simplified Space Solutions, it symbolizes so much more.
When it came time to design our
company logo, we didn't have to think very hard or look too far. We
thought of the concept of organizing and how clutter (a messy, disordered heap
of objects) is eventually transformed through determination and growth into
something beautiful (structured and organized). This concept of
organizing resembles the life of a Lotus flower.
Lotus flowers are grown from seeds planted in
the bottom of dirty ponds. They are literally born out of mud and muck.
Through time, the Lotus grows up out of the mud and blossoms into one of
the most beautiful flowers ever seen. This is how we view the process of
organization - starting with dirt and disarray that is a messy, unorganized,
and undesirable state and then transforming it into a clean, structured, and
organized state that is highly appreciated. We transform and create the beauty
from the mess.
We also feel that many people can draw a direct
analogy between the life of a Lotus flower and their own lives. People who have
overcome difficulties or illness, improved their situations through hard effort,
or have experienced changes in their lives that they value can understand how
the life of the Lotus flower is analogous to their own lives.
We at Simplified Space Solutions look to make
positive changes in the lives of our customers by organizing their clutter into
a beautiful and desirable end-state that brings happiness and tranquility.
